1. How do I book Two Step Terry for my event?
You can reach out through our contact page, email, or social media. Once we confirm your date and details, we’ll send you a simple agreement to lock in your event.

2. Is a deposit required?
Yes, a 10% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date. The remaining balance is due one week before the event unless otherwise arranged.

3. What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, PayPal, Zelle, Venmo, and credit/debit cards. Business checks are accepted for corporate or community events.

4. What type of music do you play?
All music is family-friendly and radio-edited (PG-rated) — no explicit lyrics. A play list will be provided with “Must Have Songs” and “DO NOT PLAY SONGS” that needs to be completed 10 days prior to event.
The playlist includes:

  • Today’s top hits (pop, country, dance, hip-hop, and rock)
  • Classic favorites from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s
  • Line dancing, two-stepping, and crowd-favorite party mixes
    Special requests can be made in advance or during the event.

5. Do you take song requests during the event?
Absolutely! As long as it fits the clean-music standard and the event vibe, requests are encouraged.

6. What kind of setup do you offer?
We have multiple setups available depending on your venue and event size:

  • Basic Setup: 2 speakers, small light setup (up to 8 lights), and DJ booth.
  • Expanded Setup: Additional speakers for large areas, upgraded lighting, and wireless mic system.
  • Outdoor Setup: Weather-resistant equipment with optional canopy coverage.

7. Do you travel for events?
Yes! Two Step Terry travels for local and out-of-town events.

  • No travel fee within 50 miles of Fort Myers, FL.
  • Events beyond that may include a small travel fee based on distance and setup needs.

8. Can you provide music for special events or themes?
Of course! We do weddings, family reunions, college events, festivals, farmers markets, and private parties. We’ll tailor the playlist to match your theme.

9. Do you provide MC (emcee) services?
Yes, Two Step Terry can also serve as your event host or announcer — making introductions, special announcements, and keeping the energy up throughout the event.

10. What happens if I need to cancel?
If you need to cancel, please notify us as soon as possible. Deposits are non-refundable, but dates can often be rescheduled depending on availability.

11. How early do you arrive for setup?
Setup typically begins 3 to 4 hours before the event start time to ensure sound checks and lighting are ready before guests arrive.
